Welcome To Britain’s Got Talent 2010
Welcome to Britain’s Got Talent 2010. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year already since SuBo (Susan Boyle) shocked the world with her amazing performance. In the end though she wasn’t successful and that’s what makes Britain’s Got Talent so fascinating to watch. Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Piers Morgan are all back with a fresh batch of talent for 2010. Ant and Dec are of course resuming their hosting duties this year. I’m both excited and dreading what acts this season of Britain’s Got Talent 2010 will have in store for us. Dance group Diversity won last year’s competition much to the shock of the UK public who were absolutely convinced that Susan Boyle would win. In fact, most of the world was sure that Susan Boyle would win after her meteoric rise to fame on Youtube and American talk shows. Personally, I find it a bit disappointing when a dance groups wins a competition like Britain’s Got Talent because I feel like they do not have much of a shelf life and do not have a mass appeal. That’s why this year I’m hoping that an exceptional talent wins rather than a gimmick. Britain’s Got Talent 2010 returns this year with the first episode airing on Saturday April 16, 2010 at 8 p.m. The Britain’s Got Talent 2010 repeats will also air on ITV2 the next day. Personally, I can’t wait for Episode 1 of Britains Got Talent 2010.
I always love the excitement at this time of year when no one really knows what kind of auditions to expect. We get the little teaser trailers then the commercials are leaked to YouTube! to wet our appetites to watch the show. As if anyone needed it with TV Gold like this. It’s very much like the X Factor. There’s seems to be people who’ve spent their whole lives being sheltered with attention and praise and Simon Cowell has to whip them into shape. You know the people I’m talking about. They come out on the stage like they own it and have the best talent that anyone can imagine never mind mind seen before. Then when they start…it’s just awful truly awful. That’s why it’s so entertaining for us to watch though. It sounds strange to take pleasure in someone elses misery but you know what I’m talking about.
It’s been rumored that the first episode will be based on the Glasgow auditions and features a man attempting traditional seal singing whatever that is. A singing bodybuilder and of course where would we be without a Paul McCartney impersonator? Is that really a talent? Who knows. all I know is Glasgow always throws up it’s fair share of odd balls!
So get set for Britains Got Talent auditions 2010 airing on Saturday the 16th of April 2010. Britains Got Talent is without a doubt my favourite show on TV so I hope you enjoy it as much as me!
